We're in Kansas now visiting our families, living out of our suitcases and counting down the days until we leave the country.
We refused to go anywhere today, making this the first day we haven't been driving or rushing to get somewhere or something done for several weeks. The last 1 1/2 weeks were a whirlwind of activity. We foolishly believed (you may call it denial) that after the house was packed up, we would have time to do some things we wanted to do. Ammin had ambitions as grand as spending a day in DC on the Mall. I wanted to hit all the thrift stores one last time... Like usual, we had underestimated the work to be done, cleaning the house, loading our stuff in the car, Ammin finishing up work stuff. Even now I don't know what we were doing all that time, but there was no down time. My real frustration came from not even having any time to check email, and I really wanted to post something here, not moving related. Finally, here are some pictures we wanted to share with you.
Levi in his "big boy bed" that he finally learned to stay in. We're so proud of him!

Josiah the pirate in his "boat". You never knew pirates were this safety-conscience, did you?

Corban's sweet smile.
