Our express shipment is packed and gone. This is the air shipment, limited to 1000 lb, that will be waiting for us when we arrive in Iwakuni. (extra clothes, toys, linens, uniforms, etc. no furniture) The movers were super fast; here and gone in just over an hour. No time to dwell on it... Everything else that is going with us will be packed tomorrow, and we still have preparation work to do.
The house is looking a little sad with the walls bare and many things already boxed. Ammin and I get sad about little things like the last time for swinging before we take it down and pack it.
Josiah is our little encourager, though. A couple days ago, Ammin was playing with the boys in the yard and asked Josiah if he was sad to leave our house, to which he replied, "Come on guys, it will be okay. We will have a new house in Japan."
